Hi FBBO,

My 72 Satellite was originally an A/C car. The A/C is no longer on the car and I would like to have the fresh air vents that non A/C cars have. The logical process for this would be to replace my A/C box with a heater box which has the vent. However, on the cowl there is no opening to allow fresh air in. I hope I've explained that well enough.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to a course of action to get some fresh air directed at my legs while driving through some form of vent doors?

The refrigeration components do not need to be in place and functional in order to use the vent operation of the A/C box. Would need to be sure the heater control water valve is in place and working correctly. With the door controls functional, should be able to direct air flow where desired, temp control down (flow to heater core shut off), should have ambient air temps from vents.
