Hi all . .. . I can't wait to see all of your B-bodies!

About 6 years ago, I found an old rusty 68 Charger. It had been locked in a garage, dead for 17 years. We're just now finishing up the restoration. It still needs quite a bit of work but it runs and even without a back window, interior and some marker lights, I still cruise it all over town. I just couldn't wait any longer to get it out of the garage. :blob1:

For those of you who did restorations, how long did yours take?

Thanks!

Welcome, I will never be finished with my restoration. I can always find things to do to it.

Welcome, nice find and looks like you did a nice job.

I once saw a guy driving a 66 gto with no front or back windshield.

He was wearing a helmet and vintage motorcycle goggles.

The only thing missing was a white scarf.

Restorations always take just long enough to be considered "too long".

Looking good "Girl with an old car"!

welcome to the forum and thanks for joining.

Hmmm, my resto?
Still going on after all these years....

hi and welcome to the site ,nice charger ,some times there never really done :headbang:

welcome to FBBO hermopar383, from NorCal

My current project started Dec 2005, I finished another car & projects on my Dakota, while still tinkering with my current 68 RR, it's still ongoing...

I do drive it every weekend when weather permits still, I'll never leave it torn apart very long, I always try to do my projects now in phases now...

Car funds have been tight lately, too many irons in the fire, house projects, Pops health issues, slow economy etc.

Seems they're never done...he he ha ha

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. :thefinger:

It's nice knowing that it's not uncommon for it to take years to put theses beasts back on the road. I'm SURE that I'm not the only one who cringes when the price total pops up. omg! When i see an old Chevy, I think "yeah, he took the cheap way out!". Lol
