I have the cluster out of my 69 Superbee. Trying to spiff it up a bit before I reinstall. Couple of questions..
Any tricks on removing the "haze" on the lens panel? Mine looks a bit cloudy
Any tricks on cleaning the markings on the gauges, primarily the speedometer. Its has some sun faded yellowish tint to it. Not bad but if there is a trick to make it look a bit more white before I put it all back together I would like to try. Not needing or wanting a full out resto job.
Im having issues with the fuel gauge on this car. While I have the dash out I would like to bench test the fuel gauge. What is the best way to do this? I know there is a voltage limiter, which I have purchased a new one, but is there an easy way to test this guy before I reinstall and just hoping the gauge works? I hate to replace the gauge if I dont have to as it will be all new white and black looking and make the rest of the cluster look that much older.
Appreciate any and all info guys,
thanks
