Mine is 3431017b and I see a bunch on ebay and 1 on Classic Industustries. Says 3895790 will work for my 70 charger. Why are there so many switches with different numbers?

Because of changes. They interchange. One update was the newer switches allowed the a/c to run in the defrost mode for better window fog clearing. Where the older ones did not. Your number is an earlier one. Not uncommon to see 2 to 5 numbers for one application.
