Ac question

Are a/c components the same for small block and big block? Can I take Ac off of a 218 and install it on a 440?

I believe they are all the same except for the brackets that bolt the compressor to the engine and the pulleys that drive your belts. But remember, other components may be CAR specific if you are swapping car model.

Hsorman, thank you for the reply. I purchased a 70 coronet with a 318 for parts. Ac car. I will be using it in my 70 super bee. I will look into the brackets. Thanks again.

Other things to keep in mind for your 440 was different water pump driven at a different speed with AC.
