accelerator pump

Was changing the main jets in my Eddy. 1405 carb. today and neglected to notice which of the 3 holes the accelerator pump linkage went in. Is it a big deal? Why the 3 holes? Thanks, Dave

A longer pump travel with will give a longer fuel shot start in the middle and see if it works ok and adjust accordingly.

Or take a close look at the holes. The one that was used is likely shiny compared to the others.

the hole closest to the carb will shoot more fuel into the carb at a faster rate....I have all my carbs in the middle hole in the lever
