Adding glass pack type muffler for a resonator ? to help with drone.

Trying to cut down drone of a dynomax14" super turbo muffler. Was thinking of using some cheap glass pack type mufflers, to use as resonators near the tailpipes. Will this help ? Don't want to replace muffler / look to be in good condition.
, as does the whole exhaust system. I think some glass pack mufflers have better material ? opinions ? What about louver direction ?

Yes, resonators at the rear helps alot. I have them on two of my cars.

I did this on a newer (2004) car, replaced the cats with glasspacks and installed short chambered mufflers, it sounds great.
