Additional Wires on 3 Speed Wiper Motors?

I just joined the group and learning to navigate and post. I initially posted my question in “Welcome Wagon”. Here is the short version,
while looking at reconditioned 3 speed wiper motors I have found there are ones with a 4 wire bulkhead plug only and others that have an additional 2 wire clip; what are the additional 2 wires for?

First off what are we working on a chainsaw or a helicopter? [lol] Best guess is they should be for back up lights.
