Adjust Headrest Height on 69 GTX

I have what might be a stupid question. Is there a way to adjust the height of the head rests on the back of the bucket seats on my 69 GTX? My 69 A-body did not have headrests, so I am unfamiliar with if they can be adjusted or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The post have detent notches in them and a spring steel piece seats in them to hold the position. So just pull them up

You may have to reef fairly hard on them to get them to move at first.

Can they also be adjusted down on the seat back? For instance, to have them sit flush on top of the seat back?

They should go all the way down to the top of the seat back
