Hi All,

I am thinking about replacing my fuel tank and fuel lines on my 1966 Coronet.

Does anyone here use Aeroquip Stainless Braided Hose as a replacement for hard-steel fuel lines?

I would think that they would be acceptable replacements for OE lines.

Let me know,

I would say yes. Race cars use it all the time. It will rust though. Why not use aluminum line? It is lighter and cheaper than braided line.

Not a huge fan of this method. It won't route the same way as your hardline. You have to clamp it everywhere to keep it from hanging. It will have to be replace eventually (it still has a nitrile inner core). It's actually more expensive to do than a prebent stainless hardline, if you figure in the hose, mounting clamps, and ends.

Use aluminum if stainless is out of the budget, and you can polish it too if you want that extra "bling".
