Has anyone had leaking issues with aftermarket neutral switches? I had my 904 rebuilt a couple years ago, and ever since I've had a little puddle of fluid on the floor after I bring her home from a cruise.
Well, after talking to a mechanic friend of mine, he said he's seen a bunch of torqueflites leak at the switch because of aftermarket switches. He'll replace them with OEM and the leak is no more. I swapped mine out but haven't had a chance to run it because there's salt brine on the road here on the north coast.
Have you guys experienced this?

Poor quality replacement parts now-a-days.
I agree with O.E. replacements when they can be found.
Many leaks come from the selector shaft seals that look like pan or neutral switch because the fluid comes from above.

More so they don't even work right. Watch out for long pins on the trans side. Don't mind the body length. Look at the pin length on the transmission side. The long pin wouldn't let my light come on. The short pin unit works.

Made in China gotta love it!

Well, this wasn't the first issue I've had with this particular tranny shop. But even a better shop may still use the crappy aftermarket piece, and just not be aware of this issue.
