I am planning on upgrading my 68 Charger from manual to Power Windows. Balls Power Windows informed me that they have a kit to make this happen. Have any of you guys had experience with this vendor or installed their power windows? Are there any other vendors out there that are doing the rear window regulators? I know A1 has the door window regulators but not the rear quarter window regulators. I'd like to hear from anyone with any input or troubles with this upgrade. (or downgrade, whichever it may be)

i installed power windows in my 68 charger, I used electric life brand though.
easy install and work really well.

pull door card off undo the mechanical setup, install the new electric one and run the wiring. I installed the switches on the centre console

A 1 electric life. Relaible for 8 years. Includes the regulators. Front doors only.

I have been looking at shop.nu-relics.com about a 1000.00 complete

Thanks for the quick response Guys. Does Nu-relics have the rear regulators also or only the door window? I checked with A1 Electric life and they only have the door regulators. Balls Power Windows has all 4 in a kit for $1045.00. The front regs look pretty simple with only the one arm but the rears look to be a little more involved so I was hoping to get some input from someone that has installed the kit and how reliable it is. For a grand, I should be happy to use the cranks but I guess I am getting lazy in my old age

electric life had the rear window ones when i bought my fronts, but i decided to just leave them mechanical, summit racing has them i believe

You should be able to install the fronts for around $500; who really uses the rear windows anyway? As my resto nears completion I'll use the Electric Life for the front doors plus their power locks. Year One and Classic Industries sells the units but you need to go to A1 for a better selection of switches.
This month's Moper Muscle did an article on swapping in power windows - the rears do look complicated.
