Air Cleaner Decal Adhesive

Anyone find a good adhesive for applying the yellow decal on an unsilenced air cleaner with the wrinkle finish? Seems that the repros I got over the years eventually lose their ability to stay on flat with the combination of hot/cold cycles and the irregular surface.

I hear that Gorilla Glue works well on black wrinkly surfaces.

Maybe weatherstrip adhesive it acts like contact cement.
A little on each surface let it cure for 5 minutes and drop it on.
You only will get one try though.

Regular neutral-cure silicone should be fine......use the translucent variety.
