Air filter base for 440 and FiTech Mean Street

So, the drop base air filter I had don't clear the fuel line fittings to the FITech Efi - anyone of you run that EFI and can point me towards a filter base that would clear the fittings? Tried both with straight and 45 degree connections.

I knew I'd get stuck somewhere along this route, but never expected a filter base to be that somewhere.

Does a flat base with a 2 or 3 inch filter clear the hood? Help is appreciated ;)

Ah - so spacer is the key you say? Interesting. Then I need to measure hood clearance before ordering something.

That will be after the welding I guess.
