My factory service manual shows a '69 air grabber :(, so that's no help. From what I "vaguely recall from somewhere" I think the 3rd picture with the red hood is correct. I'm sure other more knowledgeable people will chime in. I have a couple of the original clips in my hood, so maybe I can figure it out from there if you get stuck.

Here's mine. Looks like I'm missing some clips based on 440+6's pics.
 
The '69 was a simple cable, pull to open, push to close. Seems like they over complicated the '70.

The 70 was a totally different setup with the air grabber lid in the center of the hood lifting up with the shark teeth decal on the side. It was as much for a bad-*** look as it was for function. The slow rising and lowering of the lid by the vacuum actuator just adds to that IMHO.
 
Looks like I'm missing 3 clips. Anyone have any to sell? I can get a repop set of 6 on Fleabay for $20 but only need 3.
