I know how much everyone, myself included, likes photos. I'm just waiting for a few more parts to get this Dart on the road. Trans mount and driveshaft loop en-route from Mancini will complete the motor install.

Restored instrument cluster from Gcar will complete the dash.

SMS will come through and send my door panels next month so I can finish off the interior. (not holding my breath) At least I will be able to drive around until they do show up.backseat.jpg
Thanks for all your help.

Very cool. What color is the exterior?

It's the wrong color if you ask me. P.O. chose the OO-1 Embassy Red for the 1962 Chrysler. The correct color for the car should have been an SS-1 Deep Cordovan Poly. I don't have the time or money to spend on a repaint so we'll go with it. Thanks for the encouragement.

I am looking forward to seeing the color in the sunlight - looks like it could be a real classy color...

Chrysler colors pushed more in the "gray scale" My '64 New Yorker was the same sort of blue green as my Dodge but it (the New Yorker) had a "slate" to the tint. I really think that was because the color designers desire to place an "element of elegance" into the bigger cars (E Body) and keep the small bodies a little "brighter".... Color is a totally emotional decision.. if you ask DW, it's something I'm not very good at which is why I went with the factory combo. LL-1 exterior and L1Q Interior.
