ALROD3781 where's my bumper?

Collegedale is about 7 miles from me. That is Hamilton county

I got his #3134123396. That is a Detroit area code. His messages say he's in Chatanooga. I've talked to him, texted, left voicemails, private messages.

I just googled that phone number. One hit came up as a post on racingjunk.com. The item was being sold by a guy named alan with username alrod3761 located in Collegedale Tennessee. Maybe this guy is in Tennessee? Maybe he's dead? I just left another voicemail too.

The Collegedale message may be a smoke screen. He may have family in Tn but he could be in Taylor, MI.
Collegedale is a Seventh-Day Adventist town. A lot of Seventh-Day Adventist move back and forth from Mi to Collegedale. I know the area pretty well

I have tried to be riped off using the money Pac bought at Wal-Mart. it must be semi untraceable. I hear that the Wal Mart money Pac is the choice of a lot of scams. U can get it other places too. But most guys get it at Wal-Mart.

if you don't have his address......how did you send the $235 to him?

First off, Krowbar; you are an idiot!!!!! But I'm guessing you've figured that out already.:jerk:

Having said that, Honestly I hope it works out for you. I hope you get your bumper at some point. It's unfortunate, that even though 99% of transactions are very successful, there's that 1% of ******** out there that make it bad for everyone else.

Any way to get an address?[/QUOTE]

Sorry, can't help ya there. Wish I could, guys like this need to be strung up by their teenie testies.....

I've had some luck with the address/addresses. Found multiple ones. Thanks for the excellent detective work-you know who you are. I won't disclose the name. Maybe the law can help me find this guy? Anybody have a clue what the next step should be? LEGALLY. Lol

If you have his Information.. purse civil litigation.......with criminal complaint...Start a Civil court compliant to recover monetary settlement ... Contact your local court...

What is Small Claims Court?
The Small Claims Section is a court in which you may sue someone (the defendant) to collect a small amount of money that you believe is owed to you. Because procedures in Small Claims are simpler than in other courts, persons usually can file and present their cases relatively quickly and inexpensively, and often without an attorney.
TYPICAL CLAIMS FILED
Following is a general list of claims which can be filed in
Breach of a written or oral contract.
Return of money used as a down payment.
Property damage caused by a motor vehicle accident.
Damage to or loss of property.
Consumer complaints for defective merchandise or faulty workmanship.
Payment for work performed.
Claims based on bad checks.
Claims for back rent.
Return of a tenant's security deposit.*

A complaint must be filed in the Office Civil Part of the county where at least one defendant lives or where the defendant's business is located.
The cost for filing a complaint in Small Claims varies from state to state.....
This does take time & money to get satisfaction.....

To be honest you might be out a bit of money up front, but it you win you have the opportunity to get all your money back and do the the hobby favor by getting this guy out of it.

Just my opinion though, good luck with your future dealings and I hope it all works out for you.

I would rather have the bumper than the money back. I can work some overtime and recoupe that. I can't excactly go find a descent bumper every day. Not saying I won't take the money though........I like money.

Talk about 'the long way around a fence'! Now you need (Two!) arbitrators to communicate? This guy has obviously decided to no longer communicate on his own behalf...
