I put in a new cam and had the alternator off and back on. On restart it would not charge. Trouble shooting I found the FLD terminal loos at the Alternator. Took it off and found the Brush wire was pulled in to. I got a new Brush and installed it. Still no charge.

I wrung out the wire from the voltage regulator to the alternator and had continuity. With the engine running there is 12 VDC going to the Regulator but nothing coming out. Maybe 1.5 millivolt.

Question is what voltage should I see at the other side of the Regulator and at the Alternator Field Terminal.
