Aluminum intake and valley pan question

When installing a aluminum intake and valley pan

do you use gaskets with valley pan ( one on easch side of valley pan )
or is the valley pan the gasket ?

I do not, I use just the valley pan and a light brush coat of Permatex Aviation Form a gasket. Never a problem.

I haven't use either. Just valley pan and some gasget glue.
