Maybe you could make a small modification to it so she could enjoy it too? (when the kids are away)
I think it's awesome !!! We have a 24 ft high wall in our living room. I wanted to make it a climbing wall, with a belay system and all. My kids were all for it. Totally vetoed by the wife :sad6:
There was your mistake..... you asked first! I've learned that when it comes to fun you have to make an executive decision and just deal with the repercussions. I'm still looking into a zip line out of their clubhouse and I'm guessing I won't get the green light there either but whataya gonna do.
That sounds like an awesome idea, something you might do is build a board that can be removed? Let her see the kids having a blast once... maybe it will soften her up a bit?

I made the mistake of asking her about a fireman's poll from the master bedroom to the kitchen and I still haven't had the balls to overide that one. I even tried the excuse that it was for emergencies so I could get to the kids quicker.... no luck.
My wife called me immature the other day. She woke up with a lipstick mustache the day of a job interview......
My wife will live IT! [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]I put this in our living just cause I thoughy it might be fun?

Did I mention the wife hates it!!!! Oh well, the kids love it. They get close to 10ft off the ground and can kick off the walls.
That's awesome .... Love the hobbit entrance to the kitchen ...
I'm not that down with the " happy wife, happy life" crowd.
As husbands or "partners" we need to be happy too..
If not what's the point of busting your ***, living paycheck to paycheck or building up the business? Just to keep the kids and wives happy..
It's a two way street.. And I better be able to pull a wheelie or two and every once and a week go down the block sideways ...
