An Interesting Take on Ford vs Ram Trucks...

Same way here sticker or above they want ALL the money. They can sit in them!

Big discounts on RAMs here at my local dealer in AR. They are pleading for me to trade in my 23 but it only has a little over 5,000 miles and I bought an extended warranty on it - so I’m standing pat. The RAM turbo six doesn’t float my boat and I don’t need a 2500. Not hearing anything good on issues with Chevy/GMC or Ford pickups either so no excitement for me over there. Looked at a Tundra when I bought the RAM, but again - turbo issues and inside makes you think they custom chopped the top so no thanks.

I don’t really need a full size pickup. Most of the yard stuff I haul I put in a small 4x6 trailer because it’s a lot lower and easier to load and unload. I like the quiet soft ride, stereo system, power steps, and leather interior but it sure is a one big, rolling computer. If someone made a good, reliable, mid-sized pickup it would probably be a better choice for me. But hey, it’s got a Hemi!

That's a darn nice truck. I'd hold on to it too!

I stick with my old 2005 ram 3500 5.9L Cummins 4x4, quad cab, 8 ft bed, 48RE trans, without all the emissions crap, although it does have an exhaust cat.

I wish they'd make a body on frame Dakota, 4x4 392 hemi v8 (even a 5.7ltr)
use the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon chassis, they already have all the stuff
just design a midsize body to go on it.. ;)

I'd be tempted to buy it...

but;
my current 1999 Dakota SLT 4x4 magnum v8 w/bolt ons & a tuners, really wakes it up
(is a classic now, best truck I've ever owned)
It would be really hard to give up, I'd probably just keep it, only has 62k miles

I already have a Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition,
good rig but needs a v8, my dad drives it pretty much exclusively
I drive my Dakota, willingly & comfortably...
