He did say she was at the bottom of the pick of the F14 potential pilots. But she was qualified and experienced on the electronic version of the A6.

I didn't take time to watch all of it, but as I remember, the accident board (I have been on several) put several pilots in the sim, and only 1 could cope with the assymetry. in other words, like Sully, she did the right thing.
