Hi All, picked up a '66 Coronet Wagon recently. Looking forward to posts and the "hunt" for hard to find parts. Good news - Arizona car originally. Base model: 6 passenger, 225 Slant Six, 3 on the tree, manual steering & brakes.
As anyone from the upper midwest knows, its all about (the lack of) rust. The body is really solid, as is the running gear - for 161k+ miles. Bumpers were rechromed, and the paint job isn't too bad. All the trim was removed and bodywork is pretty straight, couple little dings, but the car came with a 1/2 gallon of the DD1 base used to spray the car and I paint. Needs a complete interior redo, including headliner. Also, unfortunately all the side glass except for the vent windows was damaged by a DA and 36 or 80 grit - luckily its all flat. So, the fun begins.
