Another One Popping Up...

What a poorly written article. I will atest that they are still out there. Just last week, I viewed a 51 Chevrolet Truck that had been in a barn since 1973. Totally rust free and in good overall shape. It was just a mile away from our farm. The guy owned a grocery store we visited regularly and went to school with his kids, but had no idea the truck existed. I made an offer to keep it local, but most likely was sold to a flipper.

If it didn’t get the V-8 the following year, Corvette may not even exist today.
Only 700 units sold in 1955.

I’m not a Corvette fan, but I sure can appreciate seeing one of these old rigs emerge after being in hiding for so long.

WD Detailing’s YouTube channel featured that Vette in a recent episode, a widow had them clean the car up for auction. It was sitting untouched inside their garage since the 70’s, the cheap repaint was failing but it was probably a cool piece back in the day with the pie crust slicks and swapped in SBC.
