That’s only about 15 miles from me. I could actually go look at it. But I won’t. I never did warm up to all the “rabbit” looking cars that came out after that pile of crap.:D

Someone will remember it and want it though.

I understand that they were fast little pocket rockets, but I never had a wish to own a Mitsubishi. I believe that's who made them for Chrysler.

We sold a few at the Dodge Dealership (Colt)back then.
Major player during the first gas crunch.

Not for me either. If I were to go for one of these compact cars with a lot of power (a relative term for sure) and wanted to keep it a Mopar I'd go for a Dodge Neon SRT-4.

It’s an interesting little car. There’s a short video at the end of the listing showing a guy wringing one out, looked like fun. The last I looked it was at $5k, cheap fun for a summer driver compared to what people pay for bikes and snowmobiles.

My neighbor had one, it ran good. The only thing that ever went out was the starter, even that turned out to be a bad connection. It did rust out real bad but she loved the car and was always "on" the turbo. I smoked the tires for a half a block after a tune up, after she drove it she was like what did you do, it never ran like that.... she was a high school teacher and drove my daughter to school every day, never late great times and neighbors. My girl has a hellcat now, early influence.

They were junk then and I'm sure they are still junk. Have fun keeping that piece of **** running.

lol......cold, but sadly true. I've got a buddy of mine who loves these however.

I had one rebuilt the motor in auto shop spun a bearing in the first 5 minutes lol
4 cylinder Hemi plugs the the middle of valve cover.

Reminds me of Carroll Shelby's comment about building Shelby Omni(?) high performance vehicles:
"Its amazing what you can do with these little old "Sh*t boxes"! Not an exact quote but close(read in Autoweek 1980's)
