My son is building a yard display with some of his costumes. He's a big "Nightmare Before Christmas" fan. He has build a 7 foot tall Jack Skellington and a 6 foot tall Oogie Boogie. plus a bunch of other lighted displays and scary stuff.

Anyone else going full tilt on Halloween?

Just remember Halloween is all about my birthday. All Saint's Day is November first. Therefore the evil spirits come out to play the night before. All Hallows Eve. :hello2:

I used to really get into Halloween but the last few years not so much...

Since we built this house and moved from city/suburb life to country/woods life, we don't do anything, we built this house 5 or so years ago and in that 5 years I put candy in a bowl by the door, all the lights on, and a little ghost at the mail box so they know we welcome trick or treaters and never not one kid, ever. BUT this year I will do the same, although this candy is getting old :) ...

We don't even really decorate for xmas, I get a huge tree for in the house and some spiral trees that are by our front stairs get decorated, but that is it... we have to move it with the skidsteer, that grand father clock is around 8ft tall...

"Getting old" . . . .

LMAO . . . I wonder how many years you'll be able to put the same candy out for the trick-or-treaters . . .

Thanks for the laugh ! ! !
