Anybody else seeing a Food Truck craze in their town?

Yes ! Around Dayton you see them everywhere. Theres a street of college bars where one has been parked for years. Theres a gas station and a drive thru by me with trucks parked by them almost daily. Theres also a local billboard advertising where & when one will be set up.

The wife saw a meme....Something to the effect of wishing a taco truck would cruise the streets like the ice cream trucks used to do.

I live in a small Nevada town.Right now we have 3. 1 Greek 1 Mexican and 1 Mexican/Shaved ice.All do great business.

Street food is popular everywhere but America, thanks to code enforcement, kids can't even have a lemonade stand. Food trucks have given the concept new opportunities here. From Roach Coach to gourmet theme food. It is developing here also. Happy to see that they have maneuvered around the laws.

I was talking to a guy at work who is getting ready to buy an ice cream truck. I kinda hope he does because he's a nice guy but he rats people out.

I've seen 3 different kids lemonade stands in the last 2 weeks
just as popular as the food trucks..

I stopped at a Cousins Maine lobster truck a month ago
and they have some racket going on there
about 4 dollars worth of Lobster for almost 20 bucks.

A local town's parks dept sponsors a food truck Tuesday once a month.

They even use the salt River baseball field here for a weekend. You can eat every kind of food and drink. Even the county sheriff's department has a different one show up every day. Pretty crazy from roach coach to high end food. Just bring your wallet

Actually, I would like to start a Beer Truck that drives around bringing beer out to the people. Just like a Good Humor truck with bells and a big *** Hemi in it. I imagine old men asking their wives for money and running out to the curb!

I had always thought that a good truck would be a refrigerated box truck driving through beach parking lots selling watermelon.

Restaurants don't last very long here. It's pizza, chinese, mexican, burgers, and bbq. For some reason, someone brought in a sushi food trailer. We'll see what happens. It seems to stay busy.

I’m going to have a burger at one today. Grandson is racing his bicycle and there will ea good one there. Burger fries and drink 7 bucks and they are awesome.

They park outside sears tower (aka Willis). I went to a tamale truck and the guy was wearing a mask. After I paid and left I realized why.
