Anyone do the 727 floor shifter linkage mod for TTI headers?

I need to install TTI headers on a 440 with floor shift 727 on a 1969 Coronet. Are both steps required for this car?

I have done the mod. You have to do both if you want it to work properly. I would also check the plastic bushing in your plate at thgis time and replace if worn.

I have a 1969 Coronet with 440. Are you referring to your 67 hemi Coronet?

I'll try flipping the link over and check for clearance before doing the chop and weld mod on the other part.
