Hi, just bought this 1970 Roadrunner with factory A/C and it looks like some genius has done some surgery on the firewall, does anyone have photos of the Right side of the firewall on a 1970 Roadrunner with Factory A/C..? any help greatly appreciated...thanks.

Control valve I think. @davek just had his rebuilt. He would know the correct name.

It’s not supposed to be painted black. I have to correct that. Someone else painted it years ago.

Maybe not the best shots, but this is how my Roached Runner was when I dug it out of a field. Some of it was still on the firewall, but nothing else.

do you happen to know what the little black plate with the 2 hoses comming out of it just to the left of the ballast resistor is called? that is where my empty hole is, so gotta find that part.

That heater control valve is 1970 B-body only, 1966-69 are different.

Thank you Mike and all is good. Warner days a coming but my knee surgery coming up too. Glad I don’t own a slush box cause that clutch would be murder after I heal lol. How’s things there?

Great. Good luck with your surgery. I have another friend having knee surgery on Tuesday. Must be something in the water. Lol
