I thinking about going to an electric fuel pump on my 62 Polara (383, dual 4's). Anyone have pictures of their set up.
Most just mount them at the rear frame. It's mostly the same setup on any car that changes to an electric pump. Then they have the more expensive setups that mount right in the tank.
Are you having problems with your mechanical pump?
If the pump is external to the tank it should be mounted as close to the tank and lower than the tank for better operation as pumps are meant to push fuel.I thinking about going to an electric fuel pump on my 62 Polara (383, dual 4's). Anyone have pictures of their set up.
Contact 62 Dart Convertable. He has installed an electric on his '62. Same problem you're having with dual quads.

Well done on finding my post with a pic of elec fuel pump mounting KK. Elec pump is great for quick start when car has sat and carbs are dry. 1/4" tank return line solved the vapor lock issues.

How did you enter the return line into the tank, by going through the sending unit plate?
