anyone out there who has used a single bolt cam from comp cams I need some info.

ADK, how did the cam bolt incident work out?

hey sorry for the very late reply I had an accident last summer and broke my back and didn't get much done as I was out of work for 6 months. I ended up getting the cam back and it was tapped to fit the stock cam bolt size. I still find it very hard to believe that no one else had this problem.

Dunno if this helps, but I just recently installed a Comp Cams Magnum 270 series cam and lifters in my 440 and it was tapped correctly for the factory bolt. Went in like a breeze. I am impressed with their quality, which was much better than the Mopar purpleshaft I took out.
