Does anyone make an air cleaner base for this application?

If done several Google searches and found nothing.
I may have an opportunity to pick up a lift off hood pretty cheap, but can't find anyone that offers a base for a single 4bbl application.

Anyone know of such a creation? ?

BTW, its for a 69 roadrunner

I am running a single 4 bbl carb with a lift off hood on my 63 Sport Fury you see here. The Maxie scoop is not to high so I can only run some intakes as many wont fit under my hood. Ron

I use this Spectre air cleaner unit. It only 2 inches high and also breathes out the top like the KN filters. I had trouble with the larger drop base so I use this 9" air cleaner and I trimmed the flange so it sits right down on my 850 DP. But it clears the hood with the Indy dual plane intake I use and works good for me. Ron

Tuck a six pack under that lift off and make it official. I run that on a 68 GTX - which is a modification. I love the look and the run is violent as noted by the dyno dr.

Yeah someone makes a custom 4bbl setup out of fiberglass for 6 pack hoods. I just have to find the info....

Jegs & Summit sell a flat aluminum (and Adjustible) base plate for single fours. It comes with foam to seal it to the bottom of the hood, I used one on my car with a lift off hood with RO scoop.

I did not realize you ment just the base to seal to the hood. I do have the one from Moroso which is the one in the Summit link. I dont use mine on the street as I just run the air cleaner I showed on the street. Ron

hybrid call steve, he sent me a pretty rough one but I finished it off best I could at least lid is fiber too. just need to fix my hood cut out underneath it's center and not offset like it supposed to be. note when buying lift off hood, make sure you buy one with a offset opening on the underside!!!

First pic is the 2" k&n filter, last one is a 3" it works much better

Can't give you a breakdown of the price as the base lid and seal were all together for $445. You would have to email Steve at Hybrid fiberglass for specifics. The base will be fiberglass not metal, a metal lid is like $1300! I did have to do some prep and pain to the bottom of the base and paint the whole ting which kinda sucks for me cuz I totally sick at that stuff.
