The large one straddles the dash vent right above the dash cluster.... This is from a 72 Charger I am parting out...

I believe the little one attachs to the heater box to hold all that crap over there

Well I just found out why the larger one won't fit. Someone sold me the wrong one on ebay. I need a 3513189. Got a 3588498.

3588498 is the right one to 3rd gens... Is the one i have in hands from my 74

3513189 could be a service number ( number on package ), which not necesarilly matches the casting number in all the pieces. Is the one posted on my Parts manual catalog.

small one as mentioned seems to be one of the ones above glovebox liner &/or cigar lighter housing. Attachs to dash pad studs ( If I remember correctly )

I dug the old one out of the junk pile and the part # on it is 3588498. That part# is not in the parts book. It does call out 3513189 as the part # for that part.

Now as per that above photo it won't fit. Maybe I'll make a copy of the photo and take it to the dash frame. Or does someone else have another angle.

I'm telling you, casting numbers are not allways service numbers posted on catalog. You can check that in several parts ( heads for example )

The one that's in QuickBpBp's pic is a metal loom. The OP's is a plastic loom. I have these looms in my parts collection. Were these year specific? 71/72 vs 73/74? Metal for earlier models, plastic for later models?
