i am in the process of rebuilding the front end while doing a wilwood upgrade and found my strut rods were bent. the car had been hit at some point in its life. so i find myself in need of replacements, soooo the question is stock or aluminum? i am really not interested in the adjustable ones. so has anyone used these aluminum ones and what do you think of them? thanks in advance.

I think you would be alright using them. Just make sure the od. is bigger than the steel factory strut rod, cause if aren't, what's the point!

what car ?? I have some new in the box O/S Aluminum Strut rods for a B-Body {cat. says 62-72 ?} 66-70 from Mancini Racing, I also have Energy poly-urethane upper & lower CA & sway-bar bushing too {might have the control link poly sway bar bushings too}, from them also all new stuff still in the packaging... I got them for my 68 RR, went a different direction, all tubular stuff now & adjustable dynamic strut rods... PM me if your interested in any of it...

I would check what else got bent along with the strut rod.... wouldn't be the weakest link in the chain. Have a shop check thrust angle and all four wheels then pull the car out to fit the original strut rod.... a shorter rod to compensate for a bent body won't solve you're problems
