Around where the Dodge is printed out it has pits on the Chrome. Any ideas about bringing it back to life??

It looks to be Plastic or Pot Metal with a chrome overlay. Looks rather like the backing for the Armrests that are plastic with a chrome overlay. Just got some pits on it from Age, I suppose.

Thanks

Repairing pot-metal for chrome, is time consuming....and expensive.

Thank you very much for the update. I Hate to go to new parts as this is a pretty good car. If I start hanging new parts on one end, I will end up going through the car, I suspect, just to get them to match. I have been at this rodeo. So, if you can think of a way to make it work, I would really appreciate the Coaching. Best to you all.
