Hi All,
It seems I broke some sort of protocol and accidentally "hijacked" a for sale posting. I've re-read the post and showed it to other car guys and we're scratching our heads but if that was the result, apologies. If a car guy choses not to finish a vehicle for any reason and another person wants to run with it, typically they build a good relationship. I'm still in contact with previous owners on my current 426 hemi and '65 Mustang fastback along with other cars that have come and gone.
Vehicle was in the mid-West, I'm in CA. It seemed to make sense that the guy likely has local resources I don't to inspect, quote and build the car for me. Hell, I've even had the situation where the guy was a builder himself and it was a shop car he opted not to build for himself, everyone wins.
Again, apologies to kiwigtx and whomever else that was offended. Great forum and if I made a mistake, I'll own it.
