I am cleaning up all my front end parts and noticed some scoring on one of my spindles. I cleaned it up but my gut is saying it's going to need replacing. What do you guys think? The first pic is the one in question and the second is the other side.
Thanks for all yours guys help!

I'd probably replace it/them....but check the bearing fit.

Looks like the outer bearing seized and spun on the spindle. I'd look for another, I may have one from a 68 RR.

Thanks, I am probably just going to replace them both. The previous owner before my brother treated the car like the Dukes of hazard and the right side suspension took a serious beating. My guess is the bearing seized as well. They hit something hard enough bend the control arm. I will probably replace these as well.

Good thinking.

After seeing those pics....I'd have the frame checked. I bent a lower like that, on my 71 Challenger. The rail was tweaked. I slid into a big curb, on an icy corner.

I think he went directly over the frame rail because there was a good dent towards the back kind of close to the cross member. The story goes is he lost control and hit a mail box, then went into the ditch driving over a tree stump. Given the damage on the passenger side, valance, and the damage to the suspension on the passenger side, he wasn't kidding!

This car was rode hard and put up wet! Funny thing is my brother drove the car for 6 years like this and never had issues with alignment. Gotta love knowing the history on the car.
