Asking advice from the frozen north.

I have been running that very same battery for 8 years or so. Unfortunately Optima was bought out by Johnson Controls who shut down the factory and moved it to Mexico. Unfortunately the quality and warranty took a dump. I have heard lots of negative comments about them ever since. It's so sad that a business is never happy making a healthy profit anymore; the new business model is "Engulf & Devour.":(
Johnson Controls sold their battery business to Brookfield Business Partners in May 2019. It is now known as Clarios.

Thanks for the comments I recleaned everything and checked all the ground connections. It could use a oil change so I may put full synthetic instead of blend. Its got 195,000 miles ticks a little when first started but I have had it sense new and plan on keeping it until it finishes rusting away. I have done almost everything it has ever needed so I know it well.
Thanks guys! Stay warm.

Perhaps they should shorten it and tweak it slightly to "Chaos"! It's easier to remember, at least for me. I heard that it was a Canadian business group but didn't know the name.
I once had a battery last 16 years and it still cranked okay but not so good when the outside air dropped to the low teens.
