Totally agree. All of those look bad to my eyes. I also wonder how long those hinky-dink door handles will last until they break...seems weird to me, if you're going to modernize the door handles, french 'em or something, don't leave them sticking out there but lacking a push-button.
There's a market there for you to make millions! Go for it...Oh wait! Dave Kindig got there first...Sorry.

Those handles appear to work the same as the OEM handles on my 2014 Grand Cherokee...hand into the "hoop", pull, the "hoop" hinges at the front and pulls out at the back, and the door opens. Over 100k miles on mine, zero issues (and, the OEMs have a sensor in them that, if the fob is in my pocket and I stick my hand into the 'hoop', the sensor unlocks the doors when it senses my hand).

The Kindig door handles are just a modern version of the door handles that came from the factory on a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix.
