Auction Season does weird things to people...Rant alert...

you should know the drill..
they will start coming out when the weather gets better.
if i spy something,i will give a shout.

I've had a '72 Rally Charger (swapped an AR-15 for it but needed brakes and a gas tank) Sold it on eBay for 2500

...A '73 SE road ready (bought it for 900, drove it a year and swapped for a damn Jeep)

... and a '68 with a 383/727 (paid 1700 and just needed transmission rebuilt) sold it for same as I paid to a guy that wanted it.

Kicking my *** to this day for not keeping them. (No pic of the '72)

I bought my 69 hemi coronet in 1980. It's what I wanted when new but could not afford at the time.
The down side today is -I have what I want but it's value tends to make me feel like a caretaker of history and limits my enjoyment of the car that I have to play with.
I need to get over what others may think about how I should enjoy my car.
I could not agree more. Mine is a driver. I bought it to enjoy it. I always remember a car I saw at the Hot Rod Power Tour. Looked in to see what the mileage was and the odometer said "Who Cares". One thing to keep in mind is "you can't take it with you", so enjoy it while you can.
