Hey everyone. I'm in the market for fresh sheet metal for my 70 coronet. I am curious if they are good quality parts and was also curious about the advertisment for the 70 superbee hood. I know its not a super bee. But i have a 440 with a performer rpm intake and i dont want to chop up a good original hood. Any info on this company and their quality would be mighty helpfull.

i've talked to them on the phone and they seemed like real good people but i've never ordered anything from them.are you looking for a '70 hood?

I have purchased body parts from them for my 68 charger because they had good prices, but noticed that the quality is not so great. The parts worked but required extra effort to make them fit correctly. Some of the bends are not quite right either if you are looking for a perfect car.

I have a 70 super bee hood from them (fiberglass). I have the heavy duty bolt on one. The quality is as good as any after market hood I've seen. It would take a lot of work to get it to fit and look good once painted. One of the scoops sits flush with the hood and one sits up higher then the hood. Also the lines around the scoops are not as defined as they should be.In short , it can be a very nice looking hood but I prefer the steel hood and I just use the fiberglass one for a cool garage decoration. If your seriously considering buying one let me know and I'll get you some good close up photos.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a nice steel Hood with the dual scoops mounted on it. Its not a true ramcharger(ram air) Hood. But it looks good on the car. I was referong to the snorkel type Hood they had pictured on their web page. Has anyone ever had a problem with the stock hoods fitting the car with 440 performer rpm I have a thunder series Carb with electric choke on it.

fate,

I bought some frame rails and a right inner wheelhouse from them. They do sell a bunch of AMD stuff along with cheaper sheetmetal. You will definitly be able to tell which is which by the prices (one floor pan is $199, another of the same $310). I talked with a Brian from there and he was very nice and helpful. Parts showed up a few days later just like I was told...........I would use them again.

Has any one ever had issues with a 440 and performer rpm intake not fitting under a stock 1970 coronet hood. Also is it posible to run a ram air set up on the hood. I think they are cool and would like to have one if it could work with my set up.
