Thinking about a conversion to a manual transmission? Do I go with mopar 4 speed, or jump to a 5 speed? Any key points from those that have made the conversion?

Does this look like a reasonable price for a mopar setup? http://www.ebay.com/itm/310563724458?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Lastly, my intended use is 90 percent street car (mostly highway), 10 percent road-race e.g. Nevada Silver State Challenge. If I stay with the 727 what should I consider?

Thanks ahead.

I must have farted, or something

Ok, ok, sorry I must have farted when I made this post, too smelly to stay long enough for a reply...

Let me simplify: For those who have gone the route of converting from automatic to manual was it worth it? Any do-overs to consider?

As well as the items in that sale, you'll need a pressure plate, clutch and flywheel. Find out if your crank will accept the input shaft bushing.

Thanks for the tip on checking the crank, something to check when I pull the engine or tranny.
