No!!!! It was the last one I had to do and it broke. I'm talking about the little cast aluminum piece that holds the two small rollers and the one bigger one that swivels. Well I was removing the rivets and it broke:eusa_wall: I've got JB WELD on it now does anybody think this will hold?

If not are these pieces pretty common because I've seen a few late sixties new ports sitting in the junk yard and there are also a couple a bodies too.

I suspect JB weld won't hold it if you just glued it together. You may be able to fit the pieces together and drill a hole or two through both halves and tap it for an 8-32 or something. Then reinforce it with JB weld. I'm pretty sure that part is not aluminum but rather pot metal.

maybe it is pot metal I'm not really sure I just thought it might have been aluminum because of how light it was.

Thanks scotts but I was able to find a new piece at the salvage yard via a torn up '67 Dart GT...what a shame.

Good to know that the A body part is the same. It makes perfect sense if you think about it.

yeah the piece I needed was the same. The only difference was instead of a movable joint with a roller the roller is gone and it is directly bolted to the frame piece where all the rollers slide around in. Not sure if that makes sense at all.
