If you had kickdown linkage before, why don't just "correct" the linkage to fit the new intake. "Correct" meaning to increase the length or add for more adjustment to get the correct operation. More of a PIA instead of spending money. It does take welding, and Yes you can make one from scratch, but is way easier to just copy mother Mopar. You could change the linkage rods to stainless rods with very little work and people would be hard pressed to tell what you did.
