So long story but i gave my 1966 plymouth bel. 2 4 door a chop top i been trying to decide what i going to do for my back window not sure i want to resis it in the trunk because of leaks and she will be my daily driver again so things in and out of the trunks but i here the lex.... stuff can stretch out in the hot sun
anybody done this before any advice or ideas?

lexan will be fine.just dont get it too thin.we run it here in the desert in most of the race cars it doesnt deform.summer temps are well above 100 degrees and you shouldnt see anywere near that in oregon.check with your state laws to make sure its legal there for the street.

just out of curiosity, do you have any pics the chop top 66? it looks like it in your sig, but im blind as a bat! lol

I bare foot most of the time everyday. lol but i love my leather boots or heels when i do need to ware shoes. I also work on my car in my bikini unless i know i need to crawl under her alot. cant find any coveralls that fit me they always make me look like a telly tubby gota keep some the orange cleaner in the shower

One thing to keep in mind with lexan is that it scratches easier than glass. But as far as I know it is street legal in OR, and should work fine. and yeah with the amount of rain portland gets you definitely want everything sealed up good

LOL if you did, I don't think you'd pull as much of a crowd to watch, Mar :laughing7:

most surface scratches can be polished out very easy.
