I mean, on both the drivers' and her parts - imagine being so self-absorbed that you lose any perspective (read: concerns) about anything/anyone around you?
They're both in a speeding bus full of people, on a giant multi-lane bridge over a major body of water - and they get into a petty pissing match like they're standing on a street corner alone.
