rewiring my 440 gtx Came across my ballast resistor wandering what wires go where, seen 2 that come off my harness, and from the research I've done the.other single.wire.go straight to the ignition coil is this correct, I also have n msd ignition box, don't no if this makes.a.difference or not

Do yoy have an electronic distributor? If you do you don't need the ballast its only needed for points type

You shouldn't need it if you have an upgraded ignition system. Mopar used the resistor so they could run a hotter spark on ignition for easier starts, once you let off the ignition key the volts run threw the resistor dropping the voltage.
