Do anyone know a trick to put beads in a sheetmetal trunk pan without a bead roller?

Create dies and use a press or something that would apply pressure. Kinda like the pliers that make a step joint for lapping sheetmetal.

don`t shoot me I found this maybe it will help you

plywood and a router. then get creative with a grinder and a air chisel hammer bit. I got this off the internet , think from the jalopy journal. but it worked for me.

18 gauge is easy to form. Dies can be made from anything hard. Apparently Russian plywood is hard enough to make multiple use dies but for a one-shot deal you could probably use pieces of oak. The real trick if you plan to "press" the metal is getting it to press evenly.

Looks to me that a bead roller would be the easier way to go....and they ain't all that expensive.

there all over and there not bad in price you can alter the cheap one to make them real good check the internet for videos , I just picked up a Woodward fab one with the stand and all the dies $125.00 doesn't even look like the guy used it
