Before you Vote - Alarming information about the Communist Party

69 Runner and dare devil both make good points.
Lack of education and complacency are both to blame. Weather it's people who feel "why vote they all lie" or people who say "I don't watch or read the news it's too depressing" are a huge part of the problem. How many people voted for Obama only because he was a good speaker? They never listened to what we was saying or worse yet they never questioned what he wasn't saying.
This isn't just about Obama... How many people in Congress both federal and state who keep getting re elected for 40 years only because people don't ask questions.
No wonder our politicians don't listen to us... why should they, we'll just re elect them, People need to do there own research.

We should demand the following.

Follow the Constitution - Quit trying to re interpret it (ie; the second amendment)
English - the official language of the USA
Balance the damn budget
No more Russian kings in the White House (Czars)
Prosecute the following - Corrupt Wall Street CEO's - Corrupt Politicians - Illegal Immigrants.
Give company's the incentive to bring back manufacturing
Fix the damn Voting procedure for good. Every year it's the same problem.
Give Welfare recipients the incentive to get off the system.

ok, ok... I got to get to bed. I have to work tomorrow.

Thanks

Kevin

Amen to that......Mine as well didn't tread on foreign soil in the name of freedom to have a left sided socialistic dictatorship steam roll a false utopia of pasivised government rule that erodes and infects the key foundations of entrepreneurs and free enterprise that this country was built on.

I can't wait to vote tomorrow!!!

Thanks for the thread KD

Prop,

Thanks & Well said!

Thanks all of you!!!! God Bless!!

I hope your Parents are still around to tell there story.

I now understand what McCarthy was talking about.

They are, and I need to get this on paper. Too many people that live in this great country have no idea what it was like living under Communist rule just 60 yrs ago (me included). While my grandfather was spending time in Stalin's concentration camp your grandfather had already done his part in helping to keep this country free. Nov 2nd I'm gonna help take out the trash!

I think that first and formost, we need to rethink the whole two party system. I'm registered Republican and mostly vote that way. I voted for McCain, not because I thought he was the best choice, but because I knew Obama was the wrong choice. (That, and you gotta admit, Palin would've been a helluva lotta fun to watch for four years).
It's so very clear these days that it's more about the parties agenda than it is the good of the country. It was bad enough just having to keep an eye on the commies and the fascist. Now we gotta keep any eye on the "good" guys, too.

I agree I too am a registered republican I agree obama was a bad choice
as soon as I saw the people he was surrounding himself with
it's really a sad state of affairs
Mccain / palin didnt seem to pretty either

The difference between the people in the white house now and the people in russia and china is that we can still vote them out and change stuff. I don't know about fascism and communism, but if it were truly what the USA was right now you would all be dragged out in the street and shot for having opinions like this. If you don't like them vote em out ha-ha. Just ask a Jewish person from WW2 about fascism, our government is stupid but isn't nearly as close as Hitler and Stalin.

The December issue of Car Craft has an article about rumors of big bad politicians coming for our cars... it's not true. In fact, they insisted that the "cash for clunkers" program NOT allow for any car older than 25 years to be crushed, because this would endanger classics and the parts that even old junkyard models can provide to a thriving hobby and industry.

And as a member of the AFL-CIO, I'd like to point out that a web site (like CPUSA) can link to anything it wants to. Hell, it could link to this forum - would that mean that FBBO is suddenly "in conjunction with" the Commies?

Bigredbird,

Let me first off say that I am not attacking Union Employees. I am questioning the goals of the Union Leaders.

I do understand that the Communist can link to any web site they want. But did you read what they were saying? They were saying that they are working with the Unions, and there is a lot of mention of Trumpka. They talk about how they support the Democrats and Obamas agenda.

This was copied and pasted from the cpusa's web site. This is what they call the "Grand Alliance"

"Working with the labor movement, civil rights, environmental and other organizations to create a groundswell that can push positive initiatives through Congress is the most important way to meet needs and prevent a right-wing takeover in the 2010 elections."

My point in the whole matter is the Communist have and always will be the enemy... The Anti USA. And my question is who is following who's agenda? Are the Unions working towards as soviet USA or is the Communist camouflaging them selves as Unions? Hummm they did call it the soviet union.

As for cash for clunkers, if it wasn't for SEMA they would never have been a cut off.
All they did with that stupid program was eliminate a lot of cheap transportation for people who can't afford new cars, not to mention cost the taxpayers a lot of money that we didn't have.
The article in Hot Rod and Car Craft were not only about cash for clunkers. It was about how the local and federal governments are getting stricter with Hot Roders. There is less and less of the gray area. Look at California and all the EPA laws they have for hot rods.... That's going to be us soon.
Do you want to put catilitic converters on your street rod or race car?

WOW!!!! If its on the internet , it MUST be true !!!!!

Hey if you don't beleive it thats fine then do your own home work. It's not like I pulled this information off of a blog.... All I'm doing is pointing out what is on the communist party usa's web site.

At risk of treading in dangerous teritory....

The actual ideas of communisim (we all live in "communities", don't we?) and socialism (same for a "society"), especially concerning the working class and those that can not (please don't read "will not") work and the infrastucture that all of us use (roads, hospitals, education, etc), and the other things that would only belong to the extremely wealthy if true captalism (potentally anything for money) were left unchecked, like art, parks, etc....

...anyway, those ideas are actually quite sound and/or good.

The biggest problem is that those cultures and nations that embrace them eventually move from the extreme left to the extreme right of facism and/or dictatorship and police state with accompanying suppression of media and speech. All in the name of "the people".

I'm a big fan of free speech, and that is what I am grateful for the sacrifices of others.

I did vote today, and am thankful for that right.

I didn't read all the posts here but from what I did read from the first one, I truly believe that if more people studied history, they would think a lot differently.....that is if they are of sound mind body.....and I don't know very many of my liberal friends that are of sound mind and body :D

I agree 100%!!

Sometimes you think you know or understand something, and then, after diligent research (which is becoming rarer) you find a totally different answer, or more likely a much more complex set of conditions.

The right to discuss "politics and religion" is something I truly believe makes our nation great.

...even if you don't agree with the majority, or any officially recognized minority.

Actually, most these looked good on paper. Socialism, Capitalism, Feudalism, Communism, pick a religionism, et al. It's when they are implemented by people with agendas that they all tend to fall short or fail. Sometimes utterly.

You know if more people would discuss politics and religion, I think there would be less anger and miss representation in this country.

Cranky, you are 100% right about people need to learn history. As the old saying goes, "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it".

I posted this because after listening to Glenn Beck on the radio last week, he played a audio tape of the cpusa at a rally saying they indorse the Obama agenda. I took it upon my self to research the cpusa and see for my self, and this is a result of what I found. I thought about it and felt that I should let people know what I found.

The problem I see is History is being erased. I know I'm 41 years old but it wasn't that long ago that we were fighting the cold war. Yet people under 30 don't know what communism stands for.
Sure if you read cpusa web site and to what YY1 I think was trying to say, communism/socialism all sounds good in theory. But if you know history there has never been a communist country that has not murdered tens of thousands of there own people. And yet they still have the Have's and Have Not's. Look at China, there are people who are very wealthy and you have peasants.... where is the middle class?

The very ink with which all history is written is merely fluid prejudice.

A historian who would convey the truth must lie. Often he must enlarge the truth by diameters, otherwise his reader would not be able to see it.
- Mark Twain, a Biography

Herodotus says, "Very few things happen at the right time, and the rest do not happen at all: The conscientious historian will correct these defects."
- Acknowledgments for A Horse's Tale

...history can carry on no successful competition with news, in the matter of sharp interest.
- Mark Twain's Autobiography

It is not worthwhile to try to keep history from repeating itself, for man's character will always make the preventing of the repetitions impossible.
- Mark Twain in Eruption

I know I've put this up before, but it's worth repeating, or else it's just my old man brain wanting to repeat itself.

When I was in Op/Intell school in the Army, one of the things they taught us was the importance of propaganda, and how to tell the "truth" in such a way as to make people think something you want them to think, which may in fact be different from what actually happened. The example they gave us:

It was agreed that there would be a race between a Soviet car and an American car, in order to show the quality of vehicles the Soviets were building. When the race was over, the American car finished first, the Soviet second. In American newspapers, it was a small blurb, 3rd page of section 2, "American car finishes first in Soviet/US race".

In Pravda, it was front page, headline news... "Soviet car finishes second in big race, American car finishes next to last". This is all true, but worded in such a way that anyone who didn't actually listen to what was being said, look for missing info, and check it out for themselves would sit back and crow about how wonderful the Soviet car was.

We're getting a lot of information like this now. I sit and listen to speeches, news reports, read articles, and I see it happening everyday. Soundbites that tell us we finished next to last in everything, and we are falling for this, from both parties, from our news media, from every source, because it's too easy to just sit back and believe what sounds good and meets our ideals and beliefs. I tell this story a lot, and just hope that it opens some eyes, and has people start to actually question what IS going on, and what IS being said, not what they think the man said, cause Politicians are very good at making a negative sound positive, misdirection, and generally making us think what they want us to think.

Yikes, I feel another quote comin on...

"People will believe a lie, if you tell it often enough".
