Bellhousing for 62 with A833 ?

62 Dart, 383, A833.

It hasn't been available for a long time.

Is there a stock/used bellhousing # I can use?

BH513R-S BIG BLOCK 10.5" BELLHOUSING 1962-1974 A/B/E-BODY, 4.354" RETAINER, NEW

New reproduction 10.5" big block 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum bellhousing to fit 1962-1974 383/440/426 HEMI A, B & E-Body applications, 4.354" bearing retainer opening, use with 130 tooth flywheel. Bellhousing includes new clutch fork pivot bracket. See BH513R for 4.805" bore bell housing.

'62-'64 B-body is similar enough that it should work.

I did call them to ask about a 62 bell, and they said the 62-65 was out of stock.

I'll have to call them back and ask about the 64 bell, which is in stock, makes no sense.
I didn't specify aluminum or cast or new or used, just a 62 with an A833.

I know 62 is different in some areas, like k-frame and engine mounts, but the bell should be the same, I would think.

We even discussed that the shifter may need to be bent for the 62 dash, and I would need to modify the trans mount.

I'll call them tomorrow.
